Visit of the marine reserve of Scandola by boat from the small port of Galeria (30 minutes drive from Calvi). Come aboard, in a small group for a better understanding and let you guided by these passionate and professionnals skippers. You will get to discover the Natural Marine Reserve of Scandola, registered on the list of the world heritage of UNESCO in 1975.
Visit of 2 or 4 hours. Schedule times in peak season.
This reserve is made of volcanic rock structures sheltering numerous of sea birds and protected endemic plants. Protected by France, the waters of the Reserve of Scandola shelter groupers, moray eel and different structures of corals... It is sometimes possible to spot tunas and frequent dolphins playing in your wake.
Going to Galeria, you might want to relax in the freshwater holes of the nearby Fango river on your way back to Calvi.
